Character Virtues

Although we believe education is important, developing personal character and “soft skills” is even more essential to be successful in life. In fact, having the requisite “soft skills” is a prerequisite for education. One needs to focus on a task to completion and overcome obstacles to complete your education. Healthy human relationships require mutual respect and trust.

Each month, we ask our mentors to highlight one of the five “Character Virtues” and look for opportunities to discuss them with their students.

RESPECT

We will treat others as we would want to be treated. We will show high regard for those in authority.

WISDOM

We will consider the consequences of our actions before we act.
Proverbs 22:3

GRATITUDE

We will tell the truth and admit wrongdoing. We will be consistent in word and deed.
